Arrest, Booking & Custody
This configurable feature allows you to generate a custody record as part of the Arrest Report created during booking. A Custody record automatically appears as a report on the occurrence or incident that generated the arrest. Master filing reduces the amount of data that must be collected for all arrests subsequent to the first arrest. The Custody record stores all of the information related to an arrested person for a particular Arrest, including:
A separate Custody record is kept for each person for each arrest. A person can be taken into custody more than once in relation to the same Incident and arrest report (e.g., for breaking conditions of Bail). For offenders who have been in Custody on multiple occasions for multiple Incidents, the associated Person record lists all of that person’s Custody records (as well as all of the charges associated with the person). Integrated Mug Shot System
A fully integrated mug shot and booking system has been included as a standard part of the application. Mug shots can be made available throughout the system, as soon as photos have been taken or imported. They can be accessed on mobile workstations and handheld PDA units as well as on desktop workstations. Investigators can create and store photo lineups in a suspect’s file, and also run and record details of any witness lineup viewing sessions. Photo lineups take about five minutes to create, even for hard-to-match suspects. Search to locate and display pictures matching your criteria. Then create a photo lineup by adding and removing pictures.
